Chair of the Board: Susan Russell, L.M.S.W. PhD, ThDDr. Russell is an author, psychotherapist, acupuncturist, educator, researcher and founder of The Turning Point Healing Center, a multiple modality healing and education center in Marietta, GA. Susan weaves her passion for Science and Spirit into her studies, lectures, workshops, work and life. She has authored: The Seasonal Meridian Guide; a guide to enhancing your energy; Turning Points, stories of healing experiences; The Hinge Between Heaven and Earth, on mind/body systems balance; Audio meditations, The Body of Qi and Wei Qi; plus audio programs, Brain qi Gong, Living Bones, Living qi Channels. Susan received her doctorate from Holos University 2004, M.S.W from the University of Georgia 1995, B.S.W. from Georgia State University 1994, and is a graduate of the Escola Americana Do Rio De Janeiro Brazil 1971. Christine C. Bair, PhD, ThD, LPC, LMFT, RN, FAPAThe reunion of science and spirit in experienced wellness and abundant living is Dr. Bair’s passion. Professional specializations include Critical Incident and cumulative Stress Management, mind-body interactions, and focus on the role of intention and consciousness on psychophysiological processes. Christine’s degrees include a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Virginia Wesleyan College, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Regent University, and Advanced Certification in Spiritual Guidance prior to her doctoral work in Energy Medicine and Spiritual Healing completed at Holos University in 2006. She is a fellow in the American Psychotherapy Association, ordained, and an instructor with the Institute of Applied Meditation. She served as graduate level adjunct professor teaching Integration of Psychology and Christianity, and is founder of TRUE SELF. Her bioresonance research on the Heart Field was published by invitation in Advances in Mind-Body Medicine. She presents at professional conferences and groups and resides in Harrisburg, PA.
Ted is the Vice President of Education and Events at Unity Institute. His experience in education, business and management are valuable assets to the HU Board. We are delighted to be able to cooperate with the Unity Institute in order to hold our Graduation and Ordination ceremonies and our Campus Week residencies at Unity Village. Ted's creative vision about education and his dedication to providing adults with both scholarly and experiential learning opportunities fits beautifully with the Mission and Goals of Holos.
Jim Gaither, MA, ThD Jim Gaither Became the interim President of Holos University in April of 2013. He will be inaugurated as President during the Fall, 2013 graduation ceremony. He is a professor at HU, a member of the HU Academic Board and an adjunct professor for Unity Institute. Jim has a Master’s Degree in philosophy from the University of Kansas and a ThD from Holos. He is an ordained Unity Minister and “Pastor Emeritus” of the Unity Center of Practical Christianity in New York City, where he was the successor to Eric Butterworth. Jim served for 20 years as instructor of ministerial and licensed teacher students at Unity School where he taught metaphysics, ethics and world religions. He has been a regular contributor of poems, articles and columns to Unity Magazine for over 30 years and is the author of The Essential Charles Fillmore: Collected Writings of a Missouri Mystic. Jim continues to avidly follow his interests in science, philosophy, history and the world’s spiritual and religious traditions. He was recipient of the 2003 “Charles Fillmore Award for Visionary Leadership” from Unity Worldwide Ministries.
Howard Kaye, B.S. Howard Kaye Graduated from Pennsylvania Wharton School with a B.S. in economics. He is a graduate of the Investments Bankers Association, University of Pennsylvania. He taught the Principals of Investment at Avila Colleg and Financial Planning at the Kansas City Jewish Community Center. His business career spans 40 years and includes training, hiring, management, sales, and investment banking. He has worked with firms such as EF Hutton, Merrill Lynch, and RBC Dain Rauscher. His service on the Holos board as a financial advisor is greatly valued. Dr. Ann Nunley, MFA, PhDDr. Nunley is president of the All Faiths Church of Spirituality and Health. She is the founding Provost of Holos University and currently serves as University Dean. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Kansas University and a Doctoral degree in Energy Medicine and Transpersonal Psychology for Greenwich University. Her transformational paintings have appeared in numerous magazines and on book covers. She develped the Integration Chart ™ and other concepts that support the Inner Counselor Process (ICP™). Her book, the Inner Counselor, functions as a modern I-Ching book of wisdom. She has presented keynotes and workshops at numerous national energy medicine and psychology conferences such as ACEP, NICABM, and ISSSEEM. She is past Co-President of ISSSEEM and served on the ISSSEEM board for many years. She is a professor at Holos and teaches several courses. She is Director of the Transformational Psychology Track. Dr. Bob Nunley, PhDDr. Nunley is the founding Dean of Faculty and a professor of Holos University Graduate Seminary. He currently serves as Chair of the Outreach and Admissions Committee and on the Equivalencies Committee. He is a Professor Emeritus of Geography at the University of Kansas. His degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, an MS in Geography and Political Science from Marshall University, and a PhD in Geography from the University of Michigan. He is a geodemographic and computer consultant and an innovative explorer in the psychology of learning and the human potential. As a professor at Kansas University, Greenwich University, and Holos University he has served as chair for 45 doctoral dissertations. He served on the Fetzer Energy Medicine Advisory Board. He is a past Co-President and Board member of ISSSEEM. He is Co-Instructor of the Inner Counselor course and is an ordained minister of the All Faiths Church of Spirituality and Health. Anne is an author and intuitive, and is dedicated to helping people everywhere find answers to their questions about life, work and relationships. Whether they attend her talks, workshops or one-on-one sessions (by-phone or in-person), they find that her laser-like ability to answer questions is a gift that few possess. Anne’s ability to truly “see” her clients’ situations has them raving about how they have been changed by the experience. Dr. Salisbury is a well-respected speaker, trainer, business consultant, intuitive coach, psychic psychotherapist, feng shui practitioner and human-animal communicator. Her advanced degrees are in psychology, theology and business. She is the founder of the Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Institute (www.TranspersonalHypnotherapy.com), which is approved by the Board of Education, and since 1990 it has certified thousands in cutting edge techniques. In 2000 she co-founded Intuitive Advantage (Go Intuition, Inc., www.GoIntuition.com), with her husband, Greg Meyerhoff, to help people find welcomed solutions to challenging situations so that they can walk their paths with confidence, ease and joy at work and at home. Anne is the co-author of The Path of Intuition: Making Sense of Your World and author of Eureka! Understanding and Using the Power of Your Intuition.

Dr. Williams is the Records Officer in charge of keeping student records current. He also serves on the Equvalencies Committee. He is President of the Center for Environmental Energy Medicine Studies (CEEMS) in Lawrence, Kansas. He has served as Chair of the Board of the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) and as editor of the ISSSEEM referred research Journal, Subtle Energies He also teaches the History of Science course at HU. His degrees include a BA in History from Kansas State University, an MA in History from the University of Kansas, and a PhD in History from the University of Kansas. Dr. Williams’ personal research efforts in the history of science have ranged from physiological and psychological investigations of mind to the earliest circuit designs for electronic digital computers. His special interests are epistemology, research methods, and the history of spiritual alchemy and physical chemistry. Recent Graduate Representative, Dr. Denise Anthes, RN, BSN, MBA, THDDenise has practiced holistic nursing for 35 years and is board certified as a Holistic Nurse. She also holds national certifications as a Healing Touch practitioner and Instructor. As a speaker and practitioner Denise balances the art, or heart, and the science, or research, of high quality holisitic nursing. She serves as a regional and national speaker on various topics related to energy therapies, holisitic nursing, integrative healthcare and Healing Touch. She has been a nursing educator, served on MAHEC's Regional Advisory Board for Health Care Disparity and currently serves on the Research Advisory Council for Healing Touch program. Her Dissertation is entitled, An Assesment of Changes in Brainwave Patterns and Physiological Markers of Subjects Receiving Healing Touch. Her study indicated that there was a statistically significant difference in the decrease in anxiety of the intervention group as compared to the control group. Recent Graduate Representative, Dr. Faith Burris, ThD Dr. Burris Graduated at the end of the Fall, 2010 semester and recieved her diploma at the Spring, 2011 graduation ceremony. Faith's dissertation research involved using her intuitive abilities to draw "Metaphoric Life Portraits" in order to create new perspectives and catalyze positive personal changes in participants. The results showed highly significant changes in anxiety (using the STAI) in both State and Trait anxiety. The interesting aspect was that the greater positive change was found in Trait anxiety. Faith and her husband, Mike, now operate Spirit Lodge Retreat near Hot Springs Arkansas, where persons are welcome to hold retreat workshops, family retreats, or just enjoy a quiet getaway. http://www.spiritlodgeretreat.com/
