Track: Integrative Healthcare SPECIAL EMPHASIS TRACK: INTEGRATIVE HEALTHCARE Dr. Everett brings 35 years experience as an Integrative Practitioner incorporating multiple Body/Mind techniques from western medicine and native cultures. Her nursing career included critical care, emergency and transplant services. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, served on the Subcommittee for Integrative Practices for the New Mexico Board of Nursing and sponsored Hundred Medicine™: Honoring Many Paths conferences on Integrative Practice. She is the Founder and Director of Trauma First Aide Associates. This Track supports the category definitions of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), as set forth by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM), to support the development of integrative health systems and prepare students to offer consultation and education in Integrative Healthcare. |
