Energy Medicine

"Energy medicine" covers a wide range of subtle energy approaches to healing. These include among others, prayer, meditation, biofeedback, therapeutic massage, music, acupuncture, spiritual healing and many of the modalities included in the broad fields of Integrative Medicine, Alternative Medicine, Holistic Medicine and Complementary Medicine, as well as Spirituality, Spiritual Healing, and Spiritual Development.

ALL of the courses in the curriculum at HU involve recognition of subtle energy and energy medicine.

C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. founding president of HU established a successful holistic clinic in 1971, focusing on treatment of chronic pain, stress and depression.
